Saving a demonstration with Smart Recorder

Here’s a trick that will allow you to save a demonstration to your own website…

Requirements

  • Smart Notebook (Included with smartboard tools.
  • Smart Recorder

Procedure

  1. Setting up smart recorder
    1. From your start menu, find Programs -> Smartboard Software
    2. Choose “Smart Recorder”
    3. In Smart Recorder Click on the Menu button and choose options.
    4. Set Sound and Video qualities to the smallest possible settings. (This reduces your file size).
    5. Click OK
  2. Making a recording
    1. From your start menu, find Programs -> Smartboard Software
    2. Choose “Smart Recorder”
    3. Click the red record button and do your demo. Speak into your computer microphone if you’d like to record sound.
    4. Press the stop button (small square) to end the recording.
    5. Save your file. (This can be uploaded to the site of your choice!)
