Keeping track…
Hi all,
Moodle has an excellent tool for tracking student completion of learning tasks within Moodle called a checklist.
The checklist includes the ability to assign deadlines, mark tasks as required or optional, allow the teacher to comment on task completion, and gives the students the ability to add their own tasks for better time management. There is even a block that you can add that shows completion at a glance:
To create a checklist:
- Turn editing on
- Within one of the “Add and activity…” drop downs choose “Checklist”
- Complete the form
- Choose the “Edit Checklist” tab and either add new items or use “Edit dates” to create tasks with deadlines.
